There is a wind in the air, that I am asking to go for.
There is a place in the sky, that I long for.
There is a song, that I want to sing so I can find peace.
I talked to Mengü, in my dreams.
I talked to the Sky, in my nightmares.
I thanked myself, so I beg for forgiveness.
Forgive me Mengü, I whisper, bowing...
And then, suddenly, standing straight.
Mengü is not someone to ask for forgiveness for!
I am who I am!
I will stand straight, cross paths across these mountains,
helping the poor, with a straight back, I will be that man that I already am.
