As far as I could tell, there was noone to stop me, As far as I could promise, there noone to stop me from breaking my oath, I twingle under those lights, begging for forgiveness, Mengü... I pray, and looking down on earth, with all my faults, mistakes, fears, and more, I wish I was the man I could tell you to be, I wish I was the person you could dreamt me to be, But I am noone, and someone, I am more, and less, I wander around those lights, To find the bulb insight me, I seek the storm, To rage those thunders inside me, I long for me, To close that gap inside me, So I ask you? Are we one? Are we followers on that long path we call life? Are we the dawn of light that brought forward a new beginning? Are we the monsters we created? Illusions we seek to be, lights to find among those skies, religions, passions, feelings, it's all a pray for forgiveness in mind, a sorrow as a song, a lute in my hand, I play till I fall, my hands start raining, The world thunders! I hear the storm crying, And I cry too, My words fall among those skies, My voice screams in agony, in pain, And I dream of salvation, of light that starts to encompass me, I crawl forward in misery, Toward that sea that waits on me, The sands that engulfs all my feelings, I want you to feel my pain, my laughter, my feelings, my everything, so I want to be here, to be recognized, but I am one with Mengü, and so I don't need it. I stand straight now, with a clear mind, a healthy body, arms clasped behind my back, I watch the Eternal Sky turn red, as the day starts to end. And I smile, since everyday is special.
